Volleyball has been a part of the Down Under Sports Tournaments since 1999 and is now in its 13th year. Teams from the United States will compete in an All-American Beach Volleyball Tournament on the golden sands of the world renowned Surfers Paradise Beach. American and Australian teams will then compete in the International Indoor-Volleyball Tournament, which is a 2 day event with each team competing in 10 games. International rules apply and a Rally Point scoring format will be used. Officials are from the United States and Australia. There will be 2-3 practices scheduled in Australia before the tournament begins. Athletes should bring a deflated ball with them for practice.
Medals and trophies will be presented at the Down Under Sports Awards Dinner.
